How it all started
Hi, I'm Roos. For as long as I can remember, I've felt drawn to the ocean. Surfing taught me so much more than how to ride waves, it taught me confidence, presence, resilience and the joy of stepping outside my comfort zone. After years of travelling and living in Portugal & Morocco, I created On The Wayve to bring together the things I love most: the ocean, meaningful connection, wellbeing and adventure.
These retreats are designed for women who want to surf, explore, connect and take a break from the busyness of everyday life. My hope is that you'll leave with beautiful memories, new friendships, renewed energy and a deeper connection to yourself.

Meet the Crew
On The Wayve is created and hosted by Roos, the main force behind the retreats. With a background in psychology, a passion for wellbeing and years of experience in surfing and living by the ocean, she curates each retreat with intention and care.
Around each retreat, we collaborate with a handpicked network of local surf coaches, yoga teachers, photographers and creative women who share their passion and skills with the group. This creates a dynamic and authentic experience that supports local talent while keeping every retreat unique.
